Jensen Shipyard is located at 1293 Turn Point Road on San Juan Island, just a mile south of Friday Harbor. We are on the East side of the island and if you’ve got comfortable shoes, within walking distance to the ferry. Otherwise it is a 5 minute car/taxi ride from the ferry. Directions to us from the top of the ferry lines:
- Head South on Harrison Street, up the hill past Sunken Park. (.5 mile)
- This road will go down a steep hill and veer to the right as it becomes Turn Point Road. Travel on this for about another 1⁄2 mile.
- Pass the “Shipyard Cove Sign” and turn left into our driveway when you see our wooden sign, “Albert Jensen and Sons, Inc.”
- Park in the upper lot and walk down the hill to the Ship’s Store.
