Boatyard Services
The scope of services available at Albert Jensen & Sons, Inc have changed over the years due to the skill sets of our workers, the competition, the needs of the customers and types of boats. Below are the most common services we offer at Jensen Shipyard, however if you are in need of a special project please feel free to call to see if we might be able to help!
Haul Out - $6.00/ft. (round trip)
Pressure Cleaning (required for all haul outs) - $2.50/ft.
Blocking Fee (required of all haul outs) - $25.00
Lay Days (1st three are free, only weekdays counted) - $1.00/ft.
Bottom Painting & Zincing $55.00/hour
Mechanical Work- $75/hour

Machine work - $90.00/hour

Out drive & outboard work - $85.00/hour
Prop Work - Pricing is dependant on the type of prop and nature of the repair. The range is anywhere from $37 for a simple repair on a small aluminum prop to $470 for intensive repair on a 4 blade Nibral prop. Most repair and balancing issues we can handle on site in our shop. We can also order new props for you.
Moorage & Storage
We offer permanent and seasonal options in either of these two areas; no transient options are available. Pricing is based on the length of the boat or the slip, which ever is larger.
Covered Moorage - $10.50/ft./month
Uncovered Moorage - $8.00/ft./month
Seasonal (May-Nov.) Breakwater Moorage (without power) - $4.00/ft./month
Storage - $6.00/ft./month
Ship’s Store
Our on site store has a large selection of sanding, prep and painting supplies. We also carry Wix Oil/Fuel filters, Racor Filters, hoses, fasteners, control cables, batteries, pumps and other miscellaneous boat supplies and parts. Most last minute necessities for boat projects in the yard are here for your convenience. We can order most anything you might need and have it delivered by the next day in most cases.
Owner Work Policy
We do allow boat owners to do their own repairs (excluding bottom painting or zincing) in the yard with prior approval. Contractors also need to be pre-approved and we do have environmental regulations Jensen Shipyard is required to adhere to. Upon request we can fax/email the regulations to you, the most commonly unknown of these rules is all sanding must be done with vacuum dust free sanders.
